NAOMI AND THE SEGOS FAREWELL PROJECT IN THE WORKS
NASHVILLE, TN (October 11, 2007) - Naomi and the Segos have signed with Vine Records to create their farewell project for Southern Gospel music lovers. As yet untitled, the project promises to be filled with both new and classic songs, and is slated to be produced by multi-GMA/Dove award winning producers Wayne Haun and Kevin Ward.
"This is a very special project to me. I grew up listening to Naomi and the Segos, and I know what a priceless treasure they are to the Southern Gospel music industry. I am honored to be a part of their final release as a group," states Haun of Vine Records.
Naomi and the Segos are in the process of choosing songs for the project, and will begin recording soon. The CD is scheduled for release on the Vine Records label in January 2008, and will be distributed by Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing, Inc.
