HOMETOWN HONOR FOR NAOMI SEGO
Saturday, October 20, 2007 was a special day for Naomi Sego. Her hometown of Enigma, Ga. honored her for 50 years of full-time service in the Southern Gospel Music industry. Ms. Sego and her group arrived at the Enigma school pavilion where they were greeted by many friends, family, and fans to celebrate this special occasion. Enigma resident, Michael Carter, along with the Mayor and City Council awarded her with a beautiful plaque. However, the biggest surprise came when they asked Ms. Sego to unveil a sign posted on the pavilion reading this. "The Naomi Sego Pavilion, Southern Gospel's Leading Lady". After the unveiling of the sign, the celebration ended with a mini-concert from Naomi and the Segos.
